Physical beauty is something that almost everyone wants to have. Not always because they want other people's attention, but for them to just feel good about themselves. That is why some people in Singapore and Korea undergo double eyelid surgery, nose lift, facial contouring and other surgeries. These surgeries does not come cheap, of course. But some think this is a good investment especially that it is something permanent. Some do it mainly for boosting their facial features, and some for them to feel good on how they look. But in general, it all falls down to how a person want to express his or her outer appearance, which is something that we all should respect.
As for those who are either interested or curious with regard to the usual cosmetic and plastic surgeries that are done in such clinics, here are some of the usual operations they have:
Rhinoplasty - Also known as nose job or nose lift. As the name suggests, this operation is concerned more on changing the shape of the nose to either improve its function like breathing or to fix a deformation from a birth defect or possibly injury or trauma.
Blepharoplasty - More commonly known as double eyelid surgery. This surgery, of course, focuses on the eyelid located on the upper part of the eyes, to create a supratarsal epicanthic fold. This is usually done in Asian countries where there is an absence of such fold in the upper eyelid.
Mentoplasty - This is basically the surgery of the chin. Some people want to have a balanced looking face and most of the time, it is the chin that needs to be adjusted or worked on. A well shaped chin can really change the way your face looks. Most of the time, doctors or surgeons recommend getting mentoplasty together with rhinoplasty to be able to balance the shape of the nose and chin together, which both serves as an important feature of the face.
Otoplasty - This is not a common type of surgery since it deals with the ears - which is not most people have problems with. Obviously, this surgical procedure deals with altering or adjusting the ears to make it less protruding and are usually based on the shape of the ears of the patient.
Wrinkle treatment - Obviously, this facial surgery focuses on removing wrinkles that usually occur in the eyes, forehead, chin and mouth or laugh lines. A lot of people does not want to look older than how old they really are, and these wrinkles just make them a couple of years older than they actually are. Surgeons either distribute excess fast or completely remove it to get rid of the wrinkles when smiling or when making any kind of facial expression.
Facial Scar treatment - There are people who, unfortunately, have scars in their face which they struggle to hide when in public places. Good thing there are clinics that can help them treat the scars and make them go away like they were never there in the first place. Various techniques are used to make the scar less visible as much as possible.
